A chap appeared in the Magistrates court this morning charged with drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance. He had been lent the car by Constable Sadie Rennard who was in court to support him.
Is it not an offence of strict liability to permit an uninsured driver to use your car?
If so, why has Constable Rennard not been charged?
