Can someone please explain to me the logic behind the comically slack promotion of "people power" gatherings on this island?

Why does nobody seem to realise a couple of days notice is all but useless unless you're only hoping to attract people already involved?

You need to get properly organised and start promoting "people power" events at least a couple of weeks in advance and stop relying on what amounts to word of mouth.

You know full well political apathy is rife on this island. So if you want to make a difference and get people involved you need to go the extra mile. You need to go a little further in your efforts than you would if people were interested anyway.

If you fail to take that into account, political change on the island will forever be doomed to ineffective minority gatherings, never building in size or pace, never being taking seriously by the majority. Never making a difference.

Do you want to be the dog that spends all day chashing it's own tail, or the dog that spends all night annoying the neighbours? It's you choice.
