Deputy Bob Hill says “it’s a Stitch up” and here Constable of St Helier Simon Crowcroft says it’s a cover up (in so many words) - but what really is “it”?
Why has Graham Power the Chief Officer of the States of Jersey Police been under suspension for 12 months?
These 2 “people’s representatives” cannot be dismissed as renegade States Members or trouble makers, they are both long serving and responsible public servants and both have policing pedigrees too. So just what is really going on? Why on earth would anybody want to rubbish the career of such a respected and senior Police Officer as Graham Power? What is the hidden agenda and when oh when will the Jersey tax paying public ever know the truth?
There are many such questions that need to be answered and if and when any complaints against Chief Officer Graham Power are proved to be unfounded, who shall then carry the can for this expensive fiasco?

A fantastic interview!! Well done VFC and thank you Mr Crowcroft.
Keep digging senior civil servants....keep digging.
Mr Crowcroft - you deserve a medal for your support of an honourable man.
we need the TRUTH and none moreso than Mr Power and his family.
Pity that other police officers - or those recently retired from the States of Jersey Police - have not entered the public debate.
There must be some fair minded coppers who have knowledge and a public spirit.
If so - your island needs you. The government won't tell us what is going on why won't you?
It is clear that the suspension is a waiting tactic. Graham Power's contractual term of office ends next year, and clearly if still suspended, he will end his term of employment without being able to state his case.
Connetable Crowcroft and Deputy Bob Hill have been fighting Graham Power's corner since he was suspended. How many other States members can say the same?
I bet a dozen doughnuts that they won't have the guts to post on this site to explain why not!
Who or what do they claim to represent?
Thanks VFJ and Connetable Crowcroft for your time and effort.
There's plenty of people who could and should come out in support of Mr Power, but haven't got the backbone to do it. No wonder this Island is in a mess.
Well done V.F.C another candid and no nonsense interview about the real truth. I must take this opportunity to commend Mr Crowcroft and Mr Hill for their courage and conviction in this matter.
This is surely the callibre of politicians that we need in Jersey, honest and upright. Hang on in there Mr and Mrs Power, I feel that you may get answers yet.
You are wasting your time, who in their right mind would support any copper FFS?
